Start By:

  1. Remove the wheel and brake.

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and suitable lifting device to plate (2). The weight of plate (2) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb).

  2. Remove bolts (1).

  3. Evenly loosen nuts (3) to release the pressure on the internal springs. Remove plate (2).

  4. Remove O-ring seal (7). Remove plates (4), discs (5), and buffer plate (6) (not shown).

  5. Attach Tooling (A) and suitable lifting device to piston assembly (8). The weight of piston assembly (8) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb). Remove bolts (9). Loosen nuts (10) evenly to release the pressure on the internal springs. Remove piston assembly (8).

  6. Remove O-ring seals (11) and nuts (10) from piston assembly (8)

  7. Remove springs (12) from piston assembly (8).

  8. Place piston assembly (8) on suitable cribbing and remove piston (13).

  9. Remove O-ring seal (14) from piston (13).

  10. Remove O-ring seals (15) and O-ring seal (16). Remove springs (17) and springs (18).
