Description Of Change: Improvements can be made to the radiator guard group used on the machines listed above. The existing 347-2577 Radiator Guard Gp may experience failures where the radiator grill is bolted on.
Refer to Special Instruction, REHS9921"Procedure to Rework the Radiator Guard/Grill on Certain D3K2, D4K2, and D5K2 Track-Type Tractors" for the procedure to rework the radiator guard and grill groups and detailed information for fabrication of miscellaneous plates.
Adaptable To: This rework is adaptable only to D3K2, D4K2, and D5K2 serial number ranges shown above. The rework procedure does not apply to current models being built in Athens, Georgia due to design differences.
Refer to Table 1for the new parts list required for the rework procedure.
