Disassembly Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the implement piston pump.
- Remove bolts (1) and valve (2) .

- Remove gasket (3) .

- Remove adjustment screw (4), housing (5), O-ring seal (6), spring (7), spring (8), and retainer (9) .

- Remove adjustment screw (10), nut (11), housing (12), O-ring seal (13), spring (14), spring (15), retainer (17), and screw (16) .

- Remove spool (18) and spool (19) .

- Remove bolts (20) and pump head (21) .

- Remove O-ring seals (22), port plate (23), and bearing cup (24) .

- Remove O-ring seal (25), spring (26), and piston (27) .

- Remove piston (28) and bearing cone (29) .

- Remove shim (30) .

- Turn the pump housing over 180 degrees and hold the components in the pump housing. Remove pump housing (31) from bearing cone (32), swashplate (33), and rotating group (34) .

- Remove shaft (35) and bearing cone (32) from swashplate (33) and rotating group (34) .

- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press in order to remove shaft (35) from bearing cone (32) .

- Remove swashplate (33) from rotating group (34) .

- Apply identification marks to retraction plate (36), pistons (37), and barrel (38) for assembly purposes. The pistons must be installed in the original location in retraction plate (36) and in barrel (38). All three components must be assembled to the original alignment.

- Remove collar bearing (39) from pins (40) and barrel (38) .

- Place barrel (38) in a suitable press. Use Tooling (A) in order to depress the spring that is in barrel (38). Remove retaining ring (41) that secures the spring in barrel (41). Slowly release the pressure from the spring and remove Tooling (A) from the assembly.

- Remove retaining ring (41) and spring (42) from barrel (38) .

- Remove seat (43) that was under spring (42) from barrel (38). Remove pins (40) from barrel (38) .
- Remove brass bearings (45) from pump housing (44) .

- Remove retaining ring (46) from pump housing (44) .

- Remove lip seal (48) and bearing cup (47) from pump housing (44) .
