Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the rear hydrostatic piston motor.

  1. Remove plug (1) and the O-ring seal.

  2. Remove plug (2) and the O-ring seal. Remove plug (3) and the O-ring seal. Remove plug (5) and the O-ring seal.

  3. Remove valve (4).

  4. Remove O-ring seal (6) from valve (4).

  5. Remove O-ring seal (7). Remove bolt (8).

  6. Remove piston (9).

  7. Remove Alan pin (10) (not shown).

  8. Remove nut (11).

  9. Remove plunger (12).

  10. Use a suitable magnet in order to remove valve (13).

  11. Remove bolts (14) and remove valve (15).

  12. Remove O-ring seal (16), spring (17), dowel (18), bushing (19), and retainer (20).

  13. Remove lock (21).

  14. Measure and record Dimension (X). Remove nut (22).

  15. Remove spring (23).

  16. Remove O-ring seals (24). Remove spring (25).

  17. Remove bolts (26) in order to remove pump head (27).

  18. Remove trunnion (28) and remove piston (29).

  19. Remove swashplate (30).

  20. Remove cap (31).

  21. Measure and record Dimension (Y). Remove nut (32).

  22. Remove O-ring seal (33) and barrel (34).

  23. Remove spring (35) and shim (36) from barrel (34).

  24. Use a suitable press in order to remove shaft assembly (38) from housing (37).

    Note: Be sure to avoid letting the rotating group catch in the housing or hit the floor.

  25. Remove retaining ring (39), washer (40), and lip seal (41).

  26. Remove bolts (42). Separate piston assembly (43) from shaft assembly (38).
