A new 300-2940 Bracket (1) has been introduced. The bracket provides support to the fuel injection line that connects the fuel injection pump to the fuel manifold (rail). The new 300-2940 Bracket must be installed on all engines. Additional parts are required to secure the fuel injection line in the correct position. Refer to table 1 for the details of the parts. For the correct procedure to install the bracket and the parts, refer to your Caterpillar dealer.
