Engine Side Guards - Remove and Install

  1. Remove bolts (1). Remove door (2) from the left side of machine.

  1. Rotate plate assembly (3) upward and slide plate assembly (3) out of the hinges. Remove plate assembly (3) .

  1. Remove bolts (4) and plate (5) .

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to plate (6). The weight of plate (6) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb).

  1. Remove self-locking bolts (7) and remove engine side guard (8). Dispose of self-locking bolts (7) .

  1. Repeat Step 1 through Step 5 for the engine side guard on the opposite side of the machine.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install engine side guard (8) in the reverse order of removal.
