Note: Before assembly, lubricate the components with clean engine oil.

(1) Tighten the setscrews for the housing of the rocker shaft to the following torque.

C0.5 and C0.7 ... 10 N·m (89 lb in)
C1.1 and C1.6 ... 10 N·m (89 lb in)
C1.5 and C2.2 ... 10 N·m (89 lb in)

(2) Tighten the nuts for the housing of the rocker shaft to the following torque.

C0.5 and C0.7 ... 10 N·m (89 lb in)
C1.1 and C1.6 ... 23 N·m (17 lb ft)
C1.5 and C2.2 ... 33 N·m (24 lb ft)

(3) Housing for the rocker shaft assembly

Service limit ... 9.87 mm (0.3886 inch)
