Description of Change: A new accumulator is available as a replacement option for these machines. Some machines with the ride control arrangement have experienced piston seal degradation or seal wear. This seal wear is a result of piston "dither" (repeated piston movement at small displacement amplitudes). The seal degradation can cause loss of nitrogen precharge. The piston dither does not allow proper lubrication of the piston seals. The new accumulator has an improved seal pack which is more robust against dithering and resultant seal damage

Adaptable To: To complete this operation, install 348-9285 Ride Control Accumulator Gp which will replace the former part numbers that are listed in Table 1.
