Perform the following to access the diagnostics screen:
- Press the menu button.
- Use the appropriate button to highlight "Service Menu".
- Press the "OK" button to access the service menu screen.
- Use the appropriate button to highlight "Diagnostics".
- Press the "OK" button to access the diagnostics screen.
The diagnostics screen shows a complete list of all active and logged diagnostic codes. Each line on the list shows the following:
- MID
- CID
- FMI
The display also shows the following:
- Number of occurrences
- The time (service hour) of the first occurrence
- The time of the last code or event occurrence
- Code is active
Perform the following to access the codes and events from the diagnostics screen:
- Use the appropriate button to highlight a specific code.
- Press the "OK" button to display the code detailed view.
The detailed view displays a text message that includes the following:
- The reporting ECM (MID)
- Identity of the failed component (CID)
- Failure explanation
Note: The codes and events that are displayed in the diagnostics option may be viewed at any time. Logged codes cannot be cleared until the technician has successfully entered the four-digit machine password.
