(1) Steering pump
(5) Charge pump for the implement and steering system |
Steering pump (1) is mounted on the upper right of the engine flywheel housing. The steering pump is an axial piston pump with overcenter capability. The output direction and flow of the steering pump is controlled by the pump control valve.
The charge pump for the implement and steering system (5) is the last pump in the series of pumps that are mounted to the upper left portion of the engine flywheel housing. The charge pump is a pressure compensated piston pump. This pump provides charge oil for the steering hydraulic circuit. This pump also provides pilot supply oil for the implement valves and the brake valve.

(2) Steering Motor |
Steering motor (2) is mounted to the steering planetary of the electric drive propulsion module. This motor is a fixed displacement bent axis motor which can turn in either direction. The direction of rotation is determined by the input flow to the motor from the steering pump. The output shaft of the steering motor turns the steering differential, which causes the machine to turn.

(4) Charge filter for the implement and steering system |
The charge filter for the implement and steering system (4) is mounted on the front of the hydraulic tank on the left fender. The filter traps debris that is in the oil in order to prevent damage to the steering system components.

(6) Steering Control Lever |
Steering control lever (6) is located on the left console in the cab. The position sensors in the steering control lever send a signal to the machine ECM. The machine ECM controls the response of the steering hydraulic system.
