Air Tank - Remove
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Purge the air system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air System - Purge".
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
- Disconnect hose assembly (1). Disconnect harness assemblies (2) and harness assembly (3). Disconnect hose assemblies (4) .

- Disconnect harness assembly (5).

- Remove bolt (6) in order to remove pressure sensor (7) .

- Disconnect hose assemblies (8). Disconnect fitting (9) .

- Remove panel (10) .

- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto air tank (11). The weight of air tank (11) is approximately 147 kg (325 lb). Remove bolts (12). Remove air tank (11) .
