Air Tank - Remove

Usage:

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Purge the air system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air System - Purge".

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

  1. Disconnect hose assembly (1). Disconnect harness assemblies (2) and harness assembly (3). Disconnect hose assemblies (4) .

  1. Disconnect harness assembly (5).

  1. Remove bolt (6) in order to remove pressure sensor (7) .

  1. Disconnect hose assemblies (8). Disconnect fitting (9) .

  1. Remove panel (10) .

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto air tank (11). The weight of air tank (11) is approximately 147 kg (325 lb). Remove bolts (12). Remove air tank (11) .
