(1) Drain plug for the transmission
(2) Drain plug for the differential |
Drain plug (2) is located under the transmission of the tractor. Drain plug (1) is located behind drain plug (2). Drain plug (2) is located closer to the front of the machine.
Operate the machine until the differential oil is warm. Park the machine on a level surface. Lower the bowl.
- Engage the parking brake. Stop the engine.
- Clean the area around drain plug (2).
- Remove drain plug (2). Drain the oil into a suitable container.
- Clean drain plug (2). Install drain plug (2).

(4) Filler plug for the final driveNote: Drain plug (3) is located on the hub of the wheel. Drain plug (3) must be at the lowest point in order to drain the final drive.
- Clean the area around drain plug (3).
- Remove drain plug (3). Drain the oil into a suitable container.
- Clean drain plug (3). Install drain plug (3).
- Repeat this procedure for the other wheel.

(6) Oil level gaugeNote: Filler tube (5) is located at the right rear of the tractor.
- Clean the area around filler tube (5). Remove the cap.
- Fill the differential with oil through the filler tube. Fill the differential to the "FULL" mark on the oil level gauge (6). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" for further information.
- Clean the filler cap. Install the filler cap.
Note: The differential and the final drives share a common reservoir. However, the oil level of the final drives should be checked. The filler plug for the final drive must be horizontal with the center of the final drive in order to check the oil level of the final drive. Drain plug (3) will be at the bottom of the wheel.
- Clean the area around filler plug (4). Remove filler plug (4).
- Add oil to the final drive if oil is needed. Oil should be dripping out of the filler hole when the final drive is full of oil.
- Clean filler plug (4). Install filler plug (4).
