New Track Link Assembly And Sprocket Segments Used {4171,4155}

Reference: Information Release Memo (IRM), UC85-12, New D8L Link Assembly and Sprocket Segments, May 3, 1985.

Description of Change: A new track link assembly is used on D8L Tractors. The new track link assembly includes higher strength links and larger diameter bushings. The larger diameter bushing will provide increased wear life. The new track link assembly requires new sprockets segments to match the larger bushings.

Adaptable To: The new 7T2753 Track Link Assembly and 7T6651 Sprocket Segment replace the former7G6441 Track Link Assembly and 6T490 Sprocket Segment. The new 7T2753 Track Link Assemblies and 7T6651 Sprocket Segments are in effect with D8L Tractor 53Y3298. The new track link assembly and sprocket segment, when used together, are adaptable to all earlier D8L Tractors.
