发动机停机后要确保辅助发动机运行的外部系统的所有部件都是安全可靠的。
使用紧急停机按钮会关闭燃油系统。 还会启动空气切断阀。 关于如何使用紧急停机按钮，请参见原设备制造厂提供的说明。

在找到迫使发动机紧急停机的问题并予以纠正以前，不要起动发动机。 |
重新起动发动机前可能有必要使紧急停机按钮复位。
如使用紧急停机按钮，重新起动发动机前必须使空气切断阀都复位。
重新起动发动机前必须断开并重新接通 ECM 的电源。

空气切断阀由油压控制。 空气切断阀都使用一个移动板来阻止空气进入发动机。 发动机因通往燃烧室的空气供给受到限制而停机。 空气切断阀将在以下情况下启动：
- 按下紧急停机按钮。
- 空气切断阀被启动。
- 发生超速停机。
- 电子控制模块电源断开。
手动释放按钮 (1) 是作为一种安全配置而提供的，可以允许维修人员在开始维修前释放关断阀。 手动释放按钮不得用于在运转的发动机上释放关断阀。 拉动所需的力为从

发动机再次起动前，空气切断阀必须经手动复位。 要复位空气切断阀，使用棘轮扳手转动作用轴 (2)，直到此轴锁入"开启"位置。
