Introduction

This Special Instruction will guide you in the routing of the harness when the 282-3820 Handle Control Gp is replaced.

Note: Route the harness as in Illustration 1. The section of the harness that extends from the handle must be above clip (3) .

1. Install a 4N-9170 Clip (3). Replace the 8T-4189 Bolt with a 127-2170 Screw (4) .

2. Replace the 8T-4189 Bolt with a 127-2170 Screw (1) .

3. Position the white mark on the harness for the handle at the back edge of 4N-9170 Clip (2). Tighten the 127-2170 Screw (1) .

4. Position the yellow mark on the harness for the handle at the front edge of 4N-9170 Clip (3). Tighten the 127-2170 Screw (3) (4) .

5. Rotate the joystick to full travel in each direction in order to confirm that the harness does not rub on any sharp edges.
