Description of Change: New materials are used in the fan drive belts and accessory drive belts. New belt tensioners are also used in order to optimize the belt tension. The improvements will increase the service life of the drive belts in most applications.

Adaptable To: The new drive belts and belt tensioners are direct replacements for the former part numbers. The new drive belts and the new belt tensioners are adaptable back to the beginning of production for the machines that are listed above. The new drive belts became effective in production with the machines that are listed in Tables 1 through 8. The new belt tensioners became effective in production in the machines that are listed in Tables 9 through 12. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly module for your machine for the correct procedure to remove the belt tensioners and install the belt tensioners.
