Usage:

All Products So Equipped

Description of Change: A new fuel pressure switch assembly is used to activate the warning horn for the Electronic Monitoring System (EMS) when the engine is running. The threads of the new switch assembly are made of steel for improved service life. The former switch assembly had brass threads that could fail in some applications. Also, the new switch assembly incorporates a sintered bronze snubber within the switch body. The snubber will help dampen fuel pump pulsations and improve the service life of the fuel pressure switch diaphragm.

Adaptable As: The new 9W3187 Pressure Switch Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 3T6962 Pressure Switch Assembly.
