Oil Filter (Implement Pilot) (Front Pump Drive) - Remove and Install

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, " Hydraulic System Pressure - Release".

Note: Cap all hydraulic lines and fittings that are disconnected in order to prevent oil loss. This will also keep contaminants out of the hydraulic system.

  1. Remove cover (1) .

  1. Remove channel (2) .

  1. Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and (4) from each filter assembly.

  1. Disconnect harness assemblies (5), (6), and (7) .

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to hydraulic oil filters (9). The weight of hydraulic oil filters (9) is approximately 17 kg (37 lb). Remove bolts (8) and hydraulic oil filters (9) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to hydraulic oil filters (9). The weight of hydraulic oil filters (9) is approximately 17 kg (37 lb). Install hydraulic oil filters (9) and bolts (8) .

  1. Connect harness assemblies (5), (6), and (7) .

  1. Connect hose assemblies (3) and (4) to each filter assembly.

  1. Install channel (2) .

  1. Install cover (1) .
