(1) Air compressor

Perform the following steps in order to properly tighten the nut:

1. Tighten the nut (2) to a torque of 160 ± 15 N·m (120 ± 11 lb ft).

2. Use a soft faced hammer and a 213-3530 Socket and tap the gear one time. Tighten the nut (2) to a torque of 160 ± 15 N·m (120 ± 11 lb ft).

(4) Bolt

Tighten the bolt that holds the air compressor line on engines that are equipped with this hose assembly. Tighten the bolt to the following torque. ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)

Use the following procedure to mount the air compressor.

1. Install two bolts (A) and tighten the bolts to a torque of 100 ± 20 N·m (75 ± 15 lb ft).

2. Install the four bolts (B) and (C) finger tight.

3. Tighten two bolts (B) to a torque of 60 ± 12 N·m (44 ± 8 lb ft).

4. Tighten two bolts (C) to a torque of 60 ± 12 N·m (44 ± 8 lb ft).
