When replacing a Genuine Moderate Service (MS) shoe with a Classic MS shoe, potential interference may occur. Grinding/machining of the leading or trailing edge might be required in order to provide clearance between the adjacent shoes. Reference Illustration 1. If more than one Genuine shoe must be replaced, position the shoes on the chain together. This will provide that any required grinding/machining will only be required at one location.
