(1) Use only one shim to obtain the following dimension when the rotating group is installed in the housing: ... 0.325 ± 0.075 mm (0.013 ± 0.0030 inch)
(2) Install 14 piston rings with marks toward the head of the motor.
(3) Dimension ... 111.3 + 0.0 − 0.1 mm (4.38 + 0.0 − 0.0039 inch)
(4) Install shims at this location for adjustment of dimension (3).
(5) Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads. Torque for seven bolts ... 15.5 ± 1.5 N·m (135 ± 13.0 lb in)
(6) Spring
- Free length ... 47.90 mm (1.9 inch)
- Outside diameter ... 16.6 mm (0.65 inch)
(7) Torque for six bolts ... 85 ± 15 N·m (65 ± 10 lb ft)
