Installation Procedure

1. Fully extend the ejector cylinders.

2. Support ejector cylinder (4) on wood blocks.

3. Ensure that the ejector plate end of ejector cylinder (4) is vertical.

4. Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 for the other side.

5. Install Tooling (A) , Tooling (B) , and a suitable lifting device to ejector plate (3) . The weight of ejector plate (3) is approximately 2700 kg (5950 lb). Install ejector plate (3) .

6. Align the bores of ejector plate (3) and of the bore of the ejector cylinder.

7. Install pin assembly (7) .

8. Install the spacer, bolt (5) and bolt (6) .

9. Repeat Step 6 through Step 8 for the other side.

10. Start the engine.

11. Retract the ejector plate.

12. Stop the engine.

13. Install ejector plate stops (1) and (2) . Refer to Specifications, "Ejector Body" for the location of the ejector stops.

14. Repeat Step 13 for the other side.

End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
