Removal Procedure

1. Remove bolts (2) that secure pipe assembly (1) to hood assembly (3). Remove pipe assembly (2) from the machine.

2. Open door assembly (4) .

3. Remove bolts (5) from muffler support (6) .

5. Loosen clamps (8) and disconnect tube (9) .

6. Loosen muffler clamp (10) .

7. Disconnect muffler assembly (11) from the engine.

8. Remove muffler assembly (11) from left side of the machine.

Note: Muffler assembly (11) must be installed from the LH side of machine.

1. Use two people to position muffler assembly (11) on the engine.

2. Position muffler support (6) in the proper mounting location.

3. Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (5). Install bolts (5) in order to secure muffler support (6) .

4. Position muffler clamp (10) in the proper location, as shown.

5. Tighten muffler clamp (10) to a torque of 47 ± 7 N·m (35 ± 5 lb ft).

6. Close door assembly (4) .

7. Connect tube (9). Tighten clamps (8) in order to secure the tube.

8. Close door assembly (7) .

9. Position pipe assembly (1) on hood assembly (3), as shown. Install bolts (2) in order to secure pipe assembly to hood assembly.
