Air Cleaner - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
- Open door assembly (1) .

- Loosen clamp (2). Disconnect hose (3) .

- Unlatch clamps (4) and remove the air cleaner cover (5) .

- Remove primary filter element (6) and secondary filter element (8) from air cleaner housing (7) .

- Open door assembly (9) .

- Disconnect tube (11) .

- Loosen hose clamp (10). Disconnect air outlet hose (13) .
- Remove mounting bolts (12) that hold air cleaner housing (7) into position.
- Remove air cleaner housing (7) .
Installation Procedure

- Position air cleaner housing (7) in the proper location, as shown.

- Install mounting bolts (12) in order to secure air cleaner housing (7) into position.
- Connect air outlet hose (13) to air cleaner housing (7) and tighten hose clamp (10) .
- Connect tube (11) .
- Close door assembly (9) .

- Install secondary filter element (8) and primary filter element (6) in air cleaner housing (7) .

- Install air cleaner cover (5) and latch clamps (4) .

- Connect hose (3). Tighten clamp (2) in order to secure hose.
