Engine Oil Filter Base - Assemble

Usage:

C32 B2C

Assembly Procedure


    NOTICE

    Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

    Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

    Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.

    To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.


  1. Lubricate valve (2). Install valve (2) in engine oil filter base (1).

  2. Lubricate plungers (4) and springs (5) with clean engine oil. Install plungers (4) and springs (5) in body (3) of the oil filter bypass.

  3. Position gasket (6) and cover (7) on body (3) of the oil filter bypass. Install bolts (9) and washers (8).

End By:

  1. Install the engine oil filter base. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Filter Base - Install".
