Note: Prior to assembly, wipe the mounting surfaces of the bearing caps and the mounting surfaces of the yokes. Make sure that both the mounting surfaces are clean.

(1) Apply Loctite 7649 and then apply Loctite 263 to the threads of the bolts prior to assembly. Torque for the eight bolts ... 135 ± 6.5 N·m (100 ± 5 lb ft)

(2) Apply Loctite 7649 and then apply Loctite 263 to the threads of the bolts prior to assembly. Torque for the eight bolts ... 135 ± 6.5 N·m (100 ± 5 lb ft)

(3) Apply Loctite 7649 and then apply Loctite 263 to the threads of the bolts prior to assembly. Torque for the eight bolts ... 300 ± 30 N·m (220 ± 22 lb ft)

(4) Apply Loctite 7649 and then apply Loctite 263 to the threads of the bolts prior to assembly. Torque for the eight bolts ... 300 ± 30 N·m (220 ± 22 lb ft)

(5) Apply Loctite 7649 and then apply Loctite 263 to the threads of the bolts prior to assembly. Torque for the eight bolts ... 300 ± 30 N·m (220 ± 22 lb ft)

(6) Apply Loctite 7649 and then apply Loctite 263 to the threads of the bolts prior to assembly. Torque for the eight bolts ... 300 ± 30 N·m (220 ± 22 lb ft)
