Start By:

  1. Remove the pilot control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pilot Control Valve - Remove".

  1. Remove set screws (1) and remove electronic control group (2).

  2. Remove bolts (3). Remove retainer (4) and boot (5).

  3. Remove bolts (6) and bracket (7). Remove bolts (8) and lever assembly (9).

    Note: Note the orientation of coil assembly (12) for installation purposes. Coil assembly (12) must be installed in the same location during the assembly procedure.

    Note: Note the orientation of plate (11A) for assembly purposes. Plate (11A) must be installed in the same orientation in order to properly install coil assembly (12).

  4. Reposition coil assembly (12) in order to remove two plates (11) and plate (11A).

  5. Remove plug assembly (13) and plate assembly (10).

  6. Remove plugs (14) and the O-ring seals. Remove plugs (15) and the O-ring seals.

  7. Remove screen assembly (16).

    Note: Note the orientation of cartridge assemblies (17) for assembly purposes. Each cartridge assembly must be installed in the original location.

  8. Remove cartridge assembly (17).

  9. Perform the following procedure in order to disassemble cartridge assembly (17):

      Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


    1. Remove O-ring seals (19).

    2. Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (20). Remove retainer (18) and spring (21).

    3. Remove adapter (22).

    4. Remove ball (23) from adapter (22).

    5. Remove spool (24) and spring (25) from cage (26).

    6. Remove stop (31) and O-ring seal (30) from cage (26).

    7. Remove retainers (27), spring (28), and orifice (29) from spool (24).

  10. Repeat Step 8 through Step 9.g for remaining cartridge assemblies (17).
