Description of Change: Four new crankshaft seal groups are available for the above engines. The new seal groups have better sealing ability and longer life.
Adaptable As: The new seal groups are adaptable to all earlier 6.25 bore "Vee" engines and are in effect on the engines shown in the chart.
Because the new seals are directional, two groups are required for the front and rear of the crankshaft, depending on engine rotation. The part numbers for the new seals are shown in the chart. Refer to Special Instruction SMHS8301 for installation instructions.
