Refer to the Engine Testing and Adjusting for the inspection of flywheel.
(1) Bolt
- Apply 6V-4876 Lubricant on the threads of all the bolts that hold the flywheel to the crankshaft.
- Tighten the bolts that hold the flywheel to the crankshaft to the following torque:
Torque for bolts ...
800 ± 30 N·m (590 ± 22 lb ft)
(2) Dash marks
Note: When the flywheel is installed, put the dash mark on the flywheel near the pilot bore in alignment with the dash mark on the crankshaft.
