(3) Torque for the stud ... 68 ± 7 N·m (50 ± 5 lb ft)

Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bolts for the oil filter base:

1. Tighten the bolts to the sequence that is shown in the Illustration 2 to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

2. Again tighten the bolts to the sequence that is shown in the Illustration 2 to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).
