Modification May Be Necessary To 6V4902 Hose Press Tool{0623,0624,0665}
Usage:
The clearance bore in some 6V4902 Hose Press Tools was machined too small during manufacture. This problem will be most common on those tools with a date code of "10G". If the bore is too small, then contact between the sleeve and collet can cause damage to these parts when the press is closed.
Measure the clearance bore diameter of your 6V4902 Collet. The correct diameter is 41.14 mm (1.630"). If the bore is too small it must be machined.
