Installation Procedure

Hydraulic Drive Pump

Note: This hydraulic drive pump is located on the left side of the machine.

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the installation procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.


    NOTICE

    To avoid system damage, make sure that the hydraulic pump is properly filled with hydraulic oil before start-up.


  1. Fill the hydraulic drive pump with clean hydraulic oil.

  1. Use a strap and Tooling (A) in order to support the rear of the hydraulic drive pump. Install hydraulic drive pump (45) to the original location. The weight of the hydraulic drive pump with the pilot pump is approximately 88 kg (194 lb).

  1. Install bolts (60) and the washers in order to secure hydraulic drive pump (45). Remove the straps and Tooling (A) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal in the hose assembly. Position hose assembly (57) to the original location. Install half flanges (58), the washers and bolts (59) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal in the hose assembly. Position hose assembly (54) to the original location. Install half flanges (55), the washers and bolts (56) .

  1. Connect hose assembly (18) on the bottom of the hydraulic drive pump.

  1. Install plug (53) .

  1. Connect tube assembly (52). Connect hose assembly (51) on the back of the hydraulic drive pump.

  1. Connect hose assembly (50) .

  1. Connect hose assembly (49) to the hydraulic drive pump.

  1. Connect tube assemblies (47) and (48) at both ends.

  1. Connect tube assembly (46) at both ends.

  1. Connect tube assembly (7) to hydraulic drive pump (45) .

  1. Install clamp (42), clamp (44) and the spacer. Install bolt (43) and the washer.

  1. Connect hose assemblies (40), (41), and (3) .

  1. Install fitting (39) on the hydraulic drive pump. Connect hose assembly (4) on fitting (39). Connect tube assembly (38) on both ends.

Hydraulic Drive Pump with Pilot Pump

  1. Install the pilot pump on hydraulic drive pump (6). Install two bolts (37) .

  1. Connect fittings (35) and (36) on pilot pump (14) .

  1. The weight of the hydraulic pump with the pilot pump is approximately 93 kg (205 lb). Use a strap and Tooling (A) in order to support the rear of the pump. Install hydraulic drive pump (6) to the original location.

  1. Install four bolts (34) and the four washers.

  1. Install the O-ring seal on the hose assembly. Install hose assembly (28) to the original location. Install half flanges (29), the washers and bolts (30) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal on the hose assembly. Install hose assembly (33) to the original location. Install half flanges (31), the washers and bolts (32) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal on the tube assembly. Connect tube assembly (27) .

  1. Install the O-ring seals on the hose assemblies. Connect hose assemblies (25), (26), and (24) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal on the tube assembly. Connect tube assembly (23) to the bottom of the hydraulic drive pump.

  1. Install the three hard washers, three clips (21), the three spacers, and three bolts (22) .

  1. Install the O-ring seal on tube assembly (20). Connect tube assembly (20) to the fitting.

  1. Install the O-ring seal on the hose assembly. Connect hose assembly (18) to fitting (19) under the hydraulic drive pump.

  1. Install plug (17) .

    Note: Plug (17) is located under the track drive motor.

  1. Install the O-ring seal on the hose assembly. Connect hose assembly (16) .

  1. Install the O-ring seals on the hose assemblies.

  1. Connect hose assemblies (12), (13), and (15) to pilot pump (14) .

  1. Install the O-ring seals on tube assemblies (7), (9), and (10) .

  1. Position hose assembly (11) and fitting (8) to the original location. Connect tube assemblies (7), (9), and (10) .

  1. Connect hose assembly (4) and (5) to hydraulic drive pump (6) .

  1. Connect hose assembly (1) and hose assembly (3) to fitting (2) .

  1. Fill the hydraulic system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7273, "Hydrostatic Drive Oil - Change" for the correct procedure.

End By: Install the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
