Installation Procedure

- Install Tooling (B) to transmission (53). Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (B) .

- Use the hoist to carefully lower transmission (53) to the machine. The weight of the transmission is 815 kg (1800 lb).
- Connect hose (63) to transmission (53) .
- Use the hoist to align transmission (53) to engine (61) .

- Install twelve bolts (62) and the washers.
- Use the hoist to lift transmission (53) and engine (61) slightly from the machine.
- Remove Tooling (C) from each side of engine (61) .
- Use the hoist to lower the transmission until bracket (58) is aligned with the transmission under steering cylinder (64) .

- Install bracket (58), two bolts (60), and the washers. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 240 ± 40 N·m (175 ± 30 lb ft). Repeat the procedure on the opposite side of the machine.
- Use the hoist to lower bracket (58) to mount (65) on both sides of the machine.

- Install sleeve (59) .
- Install two bolts (57) and the washers.
- Install mount (56) .

- Install bolt (55) and the washer. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 900 ± 100 N·m (660 ± 75 lb ft).
- Repeat Steps 11 through 14 on the opposite side of the machine.
- Connect tube (52) to transmission (53) .

- Install tube (51) .

- Install bolt (50) and the washer.
- Install two bolts (48) and the washers in plate (43) and filler block (49) (hidden).

- Install oil level dipstick (44) .

- Install two bolts (47) and the washers.
- Install clip (45) .

- Install bolt (46) and the washer that attaches oil level dipstick (44) to plate (43) .
- Connect hose (42) to the transmission.

- Connect hoses (40) and (41) to winch pump (39) .
- Connect grease line (37) to left steering cylinder (38) .

- Use two people to carefully install winch drive (35) on the machine. The weight of the winch drive is 27 kg (60 lb).

- Install six bolts (36) and the washers.
- Pull fan adapter (30) and the fan toward the engine. Connect fan adapter (30) to the engine.

- Install six bolts (32), six nuts (31), and the washers.
- Install fan guard (34), four bolts (33), and the washers.
- Install four bolts (29) and the washers.
- Install tube (28) .

- Install Tooling (A) to hydraulic oil tank (23). Attach a hoist and suitable lifting slings to Tooling (A) .

- Use the hoist to carefully install hydraulic oil tank (23) and plate (24) to the machine. The weight of the hydraulic oil tank and the plate as a unit is 227 kg (500 lb).
- Install two nuts (25) and the washers on plate (26) .

- Install two nuts (27) and the washers on plate (24) .
- Repeat Step 37 for the right side of the machine.
- Connect hose (22) to the bottom of hydraulic oil tank (23) .

- Mount accumulator (21) to plate (26). Install two bolts (20) and the washers.

- Connect sensor (18) .
- Install cable tie (19) .
- Connect hose (17) to the parking brake actuator.

- Install clip (14) .
- Install bolt (13) and the washer.
- Connect hose (12) to the gear pump.
- Connect hose (11) and install two bolts (16) .
- Install two bolts (15) .
- Connect hose (10) to the piston pump.

- Connect hose (9) to the pressure and flow compensator valve.
- Connect hydraulic tube (8) .

- Attach cable tie (5) to wire connector (6) .

- Connect two lines (4) directly below the pressure taps.

- Fill the transmission with oil. For the correct procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced.
