If low impedance test equipment is used to test this switch, damage to the switch could result. Do not use a circuit tester light to test this switch. Do not use an analog multimeter to test this switch. Test only with a digital multimeter.

(1) Torque for the switch ... 33 ± 4 N·m (24 ± 3 lb ft)

Voltage drop across the switch contacts ... 100 mV at 2.5 mA maximum

Current draw across the switch contacts ... 130 mA

(A) Switch contacts are closed.

(B) The switch contacts must be open when the hydraulic oil level falls below 10 ± 5 mm (.4 ± .2 inch) from the centerline of the switch.

(C) The switch contacts must be closed when the hydraulic oil level rises to a minimum of 2.3 mm (.09 inch) from the centerline of the switch.

(D) Maximum travel distance equals 34.6 mm (1.36 inch).

(E) Switch contacts are open.
