Stopping the Machine

Park on a level surface. If it is necessary to park on a grade, block the tracks securely. Do not engage the parking brake while the machine is moving unless an emergency exists. |
- Apply the service brakes in order to stop the machine.
- Move the governor control lever to the LOW IDLE position.

- Move the transmission direction selector (2) to NEUTRAL.

- Engage the parking brake (1) .
- Lower the blade and all the attachments to the ground. Apply slight downward pressure. Engage the restraints on the attachment control levers.
