Front Guard Changed To Prevent Interference With Tilt Cylinder

Usage:

TRACK-TYPE LODERS953C (2ZN1750-UP)

Problem:

The tilt cylinder elbow could interfere with the 150-0793 Front Guard. The cover plate that is welded over the hole in the 150-0795 Plate Assembly can contact the elbow of the tilt cylinder and cause the elbow joint to start leaking.

Solution:

A change has been made to the front guard. The cover plate which was welded under the opening near the top of the front guard has been removed (See Illustration 1). The shape of the opening has also been modified from an elongated circle to a circle with a diameter of 50.0 mm (1.97 inch). Machines found to contain the welded plate and showing signs of contact with the tilt cylinder elbow should have the plate removed, but there is no need to rework the hole on machines with an elongated opening.
