Description of Change: Several improvements have been made to the lines group in the area of the hitch.
... A 3G5303 Plate has also been installed above the hitch pivot pin to keep the accumulator hose assembly away from the bolts.
A new 3G5304 Hose Assembly is used as a replacement for the 9J7552 Hose Assembly in the 6J6664 Accumulator Lines Group. The new hose assembly has two of the eight sleeves moved farther away from the 90° stem assembly.
... New clamps and hose assemblies are used on the 7D160 and 7D1570 Hitch Lines Group (641B, 651B and 657B respectively). The clamps are of a new design to prevent external damage to the hose assemblies. Also, a plate with a "U" shape is used on the end of the hitch lines clamp to prevent wear to the accumulator hose by the side plates of the clamp.
The hose assemblies are a little shorter to give more resistance to movement which causes wear.
INSTALLATION:
... Remove the 9J7552 Accumulator Hose Assembly. See Illustration 1 and install the channel and the plate. Install the 3G5568 Clamp and the new 3G5304 Accumulator Hose Assembly as shown in Illustration 2.
