- Inlet lobe ... 8.914 mm (0.3509 inch)
To find the lobe lift, use the following procedure:
- Measure the camshaft lobe height (C) .
- Measure the base circle (D) .
- Subtract the base circle that is found in Step 2 from the lobe height that is found in Step 1. The difference is the actual camshaft lobe lift (B) .
Maximum permissible difference between actual lobe lift and the specified lobe lift of a new camshaft ... ± 0.10 mm (0.004 inch)
