Brake Master Cylinder And Power Cylinder

Usage:

Remove Brake Master Cylinder And Power Cylinder

1. Remove the floor plates from machine.

2. Disconnect oil line (2) from top of master cylinder. Disconnect the oil line from bottom of master cylinder. Put covers on lines and fittings.

3. Disconnect the wires (3) from switch on back of master cylinder.

4. Remove the four bolts (1) from each of the two blocks on top of power cylinder.

5. Remove cotter pin from rod of power cylinder.

6. Remove the four bolts (4) that hold cylinder to support. Remove the brake master cylinder and power cylinder as a unit. Weight is 25 lb. (11 kg).

Install Brake Master Cylinder And Power Cylinder

1. Put the brake master cylinder and power cylinder in position on support. Install the fastening bolts.

2. Install pin and cotter for rod on the power cylinder.

NOTE: Make an adjustment of length of rod as necessary to make alignment of hole in yoke and hole in brake lever. The cylinder and pedal must be in released position.

3. Connect the wires to switch on master cylinder. Connect the two oil lines to master cylinder.

4. Install the bolts that hold the oil blocks on top of power cylinder.

5. Fill the reserve tank (1) for the master cylinder and remove the air from the brake system. See the TESTING AND ADJUSTING for correct procedure.

6. Install the floor plates.
