PERHATIAN

Pelumasan yang tidak benar dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada komponen alat berat.

Untuk menghindari terjadinya kerusakan, pastikan bahwa gemuk pelumas dengan jumlah yang tepat telah diberikan pada penggerak swing.

Apabila jumlah gemuk pelumas di dalam kompartemen menjadi terlalu banyak, kerugian akibat agitasi akan bertambah besar, sehingga mempercepat menurunnya kualitas gemuk pelumas.

Memburuknya kualitas gemuk pelumas dapat menyebabkan kerusakan roda gigi pinion di dalam penggerak swing dan roda-roda gigi internal dalam penggerak swing.

Kurangnya jumlah gemuk pelumas akan menyebabkan kurangnya pelumasan pada rodagigi.

  1. Lepaskan baut (1) dan washer (2). Lepaskan penutup (3) dan gasket (4).

  2. Periksa gasket (4). Ganti gasket bila telah rusak.

  3. Periksa ketinggian gemuk pelumas. Gemuk pelumas harus tersebar secara merata pada bak penampung gemuk pelumas.

  4. Periksa apakah gemuk pelumas telah terkontaminasi dan berubah warna. Lepaskan sumbat (5) untuk membiarkan air mengalir keluar. Sewaktu memasang sumbat (5) kembali, periksa seal O-ring (6). Ganti seal O-ring bila tampak rusak.

  5. Jika tingkat kontaminasi sangat tinggi, hubungi dealer Caterpillar Anda.

  6. Naikkan boom. Putar struktur atas. Turunkan bucket ke permukaan tanah.

  7. Ulangi Langkah 3 pada setiap 30 derajat di 12 tempat. Tambahkan gemuk pelumas, sebanyak yang diperlukan.
