Description of Change: A two-piece clip is now used to retain the tube assemblies in the Hydrax system on G3606 and G3608 Engines. The two-piece clips secure the hydraulic lines in the Hydrax system. The clips prevent the hydraulic lines from vibrating against the bracket for the air choke actuator. The two-piece clips are made of thicker steel than the former one-piece clip.
Adaptable To: The two-piece clip can be installed on any of the G3606 and G3608 Engines that use the Hydrax system. The two-piece clip is adaptable to the engine serial numbers that are shown below:
- G3606 3XF114-UP
- G3608 4WF68-UP
Table 1 indicates the Engine Arrangement Numbers and the Engine Oil Lines Groups that are involved.

In this installation, 4 of the 8T-1887 Clips and 4 of the 8T-1888 Clips are required to fasten the tube assemblies to the 130-3357 Bracket. The bracket is used in order to mount the air choke actuator to the engine. The hardware for mounting the clips is reusable.
