Description of Change: A new auxiliary sea water pump is now available for the above 3412E Marine Engines. The new auxiliary sea water pumps have the following improvements:
- Improved silicone carbide water seal
- New stainless steel retaining ring
Adaptable To: A new 212-7264 Auxiliary Sea Water Pump group replaces the former 147-7850 Auxiliary Sea Water Pump group. The new pump group has a new silicone carbide 212-7265 Seal (Water) that replaces the former 153-9120 Seal (Water). The new pump group also has a new stainless steel 212-9436 Retaining Ring (External) that replaces the former 5L-4019 Retaining Ring (External). These new parts are also available in the new 212-7266 Pump Kit as a replacement for the former 156-6895 Pump Kit. All requests for the former parts will be serviced with the new parts. All new parts are direct replacements. The part number for the former auxiliary sea water pump, the former pump kit, and the former water seal has been cancelled. Illustration 1 shows the new parts locations.
