Start By:
- Remove the crankshaft rear seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Rear Seal - Remove".
- Remove the electric starting motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Electric Starting Motor - Remove and Install".

- Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (2).
- Remove bolts (1) and bolts (3). Remove flywheel housing (2) from the dowels in the cylinder block. The weight of the flywheel housing is approximately
32 kg (71 lb) .

- Install Tooling (A) and position the flywheel housing. Install bolt 1 through bolt 19. Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bolts:
- In a numerical sequence, tighten bolt 1 through bolt 19 to a torque of
40 ± 7 N·m (30 ± 5 lb ft) . - In a numerical sequence, again tighten bolt 1 through bolt 9 to a torque of
135 ± 15 N·m (100 ± 11 lb ft) . - In a numerical sequence, again tighten bolt 10 through bolt 19 to a torque of
55 ± 7 N·m (40 ± 5 lb ft) .

- Install bolts (1) that fasten the engine oil pan to flywheel housing (2).
