- Position the track so that the master pin is above the center line of the sprocket or idler.
- Stop the machine and release the track tension.

Illustration 2 g02709234 - Use Tooling (A) to support track shoe (2). Remove bolts (1) and track shoe (2).
Note: In order to provide additional clearance for the removal of the master pin, remove track shoe (2) on each side of master pin.
