Mounting Bracket - Remove and Install

Usage:

H110E S HHB

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the hammer tool from the hammer. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Tool - Remove and Install".

  2. Remove the hammer from the host machine. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Work Tool Installation and Removal".

  3. Use a suitable lifting device to position hammer (1) in an upright position. Refer to the following table for the approximate weight of hammer (1).

  4. Ensure that the hammer is secure, in an upright position, and cannot fall.

  5. Attach an additional suitable lifting device onto mounting bracket (2). Remove bolts (3) and mounting bracket (2).

    Note: Refer to the following table for the appropriate weight of mounting bracket (2).

  1. Use a suitable lifting device to install mounting bracket (2). Install bolts (3).

    Note: Refer to the following table for the appropriate weight of mounting bracket (2).

  2. Tighten bolts (3).

    Note: Refer to the following table for the appropriate torque values of bolts (3).

  3. Use a suitable lifting device to lower hammer (1) onto suitable blocking.

    Note: Refer to the following table for the appropriate weight of hammer (1).

  5. Install the hammer on the host machine. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Work Tool Removal and Installation".

  6. Install the hammer tool on the hammer. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Tool - Remove and Install".

  7. Check the torque of bolts (3) after 8 hours of operation.
