Oil Pan - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
- Drain the engine oil.
- Remove guard assemblies (1) .

- Remove dip stick (2) .

- Remove hose assembly (3), harness assembly (4), bolts (5), oil pan (6), and the gasket.

Note: Mark the location for each of bolts (5). The bolts are not all the same length.
- Remove bolts (7) and spacer (8) .

- Install spacer (8) and bolts (7) .

- Install Tooling (A) in locations (X). Install the gasket and oil pan (6) .

- Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) in the sequence shown, to a torque of 22 N·m (195 lb in).

- Remove Tooling (A). Install the remainder of bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) in the sequence shown, to a torque of 22 N·m (195 lb in).
- Install hose assembly (3) and harness assembly (4) .

- Apply Tooling (B) to the nut and install dip stick (2) .
