(5) Lightly lubricate the sealing lip of the buffer seal with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(6) Lightly lubricate the sealing lip of the U-cup seal with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(7) Lightly lubricate the sealing lip of the lip type seal with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(8) Free linear movement of the stop after assembly ... 0.50 ± 0.26 mm (0.020 ± 0.010 inch)
(9) Maximum outside diameter of two retaining rings after assembly ... 70.4 mm (2.77 inch)
Note: Before assembly, lubricate the face and the threads of the locknut (10) with 309-6932 Hydraulic Oil all around.
(10) Torque for the locknut ... 7900 ± 400 N·m (5827 ± 295 lb ft)
(11) Lubricate the inside diameter and the outside diameter of three rings with the clean grease.
(12) Lubricate the inside diameter and the outside diameter of the seal assembly with the clean grease.
(13) The slit of the seal ring must turn in the direction of the piston.
(14) Before assembly, apply green Loctite 609 to the wiper seal groove.
