以直接喷油的方式向发动机提供动力。 机械调速器控制喷油泵的输出，以便保持操作员选择的发动机转速。 从而提供良好的发动机响应和良好的燃油经济性。
冷却系统包括以下部件:
- 皮带驱动的离心泵
- 调节发动机冷却液温度的水温调节器
- 具有支路系统的机油冷却器和散热器
供给发动机的润滑油需经冷却。 发动机润滑油也需过滤。 在下列情况下，旁通阀向发动机部件提供无阻力的润滑油流：
- 机油黏度过高
- 机油冷却器堵塞或机油滤清器滤芯堵塞（纸式滤筒）
