(1) Torque for two stoppers ... 140 ± 14 N·m (105 ± 10 lb ft)

Before assembly, apply a small amount of hydraulic oil on the sliding surfaces of the following parts:

• piston (2)

• guide (3)

• barrel (4)

• piston assembly (9)

• spool (14)

(5) Torque for 10 bolts ... 177 ± 18 N·m (131 ± 13 lb ft)

(6) 107-6981 Shim

Thickness of one shim ... 0.8 mm (0.032 inch)

107-6980 Shim

Thickness of one shim ... 1.0 mm (0.040 inch)

107-6976 Shim

Thickness of one shim ... 1.2 mm (0.050 inch)

107-6977 Shim

Thickness of one shim ... 1.4 mm (0.055 inch)

107-6978 Shim

Thickness of one shim ... 1.6 mm (0.063 inch)

107-6979 Shim

Thickness of one shim ... 1.8 mm (0.071 inch)

To ensure that the following conditions are fulfilled, install shims (6) :

• When parking brake release port (12) is vented to the air, the motor output shaft does not rotate with a torque of 785 N·m (580 lb ft) or less.

• When pressure at parking brake release port (12) is 780 kPa (115 psi), the motor output shaft rotates with a torque of 29 N·m (21 lb ft) or less. Both the inlet port and the outlet port must be open to the hydraulic tank.

Note: During this test, turn the output shaft clockwise.

(7) Apply 5P-3413 Sealant to the seal.

Inside diameter ... 8.9 ± 0.10 mm (0.35 ± 0.004 inch)

(10) 118-4057 Spring

Outside diameter ... 9.5 ± 0.2 mm (0.37 ± 0.008 inch)

Inside diameter ... 4.9 mm (0.19 inch)

(11) Torque for plugs ... 14.7 ± 1.5 N·m (11 ± 1 lb ft)

(13) 096-3978 Spring

Free length ... 34.7 mm (1.37 inch)

Outside diameter ... 14.0 ± 0.1 mm (0.55 ± 0.004 inch)

Inside diameter ... 10.4 mm (0.41 inch)
