Hydraulic Track Adjusters - Remove and Install

Usage:

303C CR BXT

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the front idler, the recoil spring, and the hydraulic track adjuster. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Idler, Recoil Spring and Hydraulic Track Adjuster - Remove and Install".

  2. Remove the front idler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Idler - Remove and Install".

  1. Remove cylinder assembly (1) from piston assembly (2).

  2. Remove seal (5), O-ring seal (4), and backup ring (3) from cylinder assembly (1).

  3. Remove valve (6) from piston assembly (2).

  4. Repeat Step 1 through Step 3 for the opposite side.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install valve (6) to piston assembly (2).

  2. Install backup ring (3), O-ring seal (4), and seal (5) to cylinder assembly (1).

  3. Install cylinder assembly (1) to piston assembly (2).

  4. Repeat Step 1 through Step 3 for the opposite side.

End By:

  1. Install the front idler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Idler - Remove and Install".

  2. Install the front idler, the recoil spring, and the hydraulic track adjuster. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Idler, Recoil Spring and Hydraulic Track Adjuster - Remove and Install".
